CEO

Isaiah Choongsil Lee

Isaiah Choongsil Lee specializes in management of energy companies with more than 20 years of experience as founders and CEOs of various companies in the areas of nickel mining development and operation, nickel production facilities development, nickel export, fintech, etc. Before joining Pistis, he was the Indonesia representative of Taelim Co. Ltd., a partner company of EcoPro Co., Ltd. in Korea for nickel production and exports. With expertise in management of energy company, he runs and overseas operation of Pistis.

Isaiah holds MDiv. from Talbot School of Theology and earned his MA in Social Welfare at Chung-Ang University. He received his BA in Economics & Politics from Handong Global University. Besides business, he leads Team Boaz, a charity NGO helping Indonesian children for equal educational opportunities for more than 10 years.

Jeffrey Choi

Jeffrey Choi specializes in planning, development, implementation, and management of international energy infrastructure projects, delivering solutions with effective investment and financing strategies with more than 20 years of field experience and expertise. Before joining Pistis, He held various leadership positions in such institutions as GOs, PMCs, Universities, and the Military in Korea, Australia, and Indonesia.

Jeffrey studied a PhD program in International Relations at the Australian National University as an Endeavour Award Scholar of the Australian Government. He received his MA in International Relations from the International University of Japan as a Japanese Government's Monbukakusho Scholar and holds a BA in International Studies and English from Handong Global University. He served the Republic of Korea Navy as a commisioned officer.

Ke Hyung Lee

Ke Hyung Lee specializes in mining and sales, CM, and O&M for energy infrastructure projects. With extensive field experience and expertise for more than 30 years in various mines and energy plants in Indonesia, he leads local permits, approvals, and licenses process for development, construction, and commissioning of the projects, and oversees on site mining process.

Ke Hyung received his BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from Myong Ji University and has sucessfully completed large scale energy infrastructure projects in Indonesia including a Coal Gasification Project, LPG Extraction Project, Oil Re-refinery Project, Butadiene Storage Tank, etc. in partnership with GS, Samsung, Lotte, Hitachi, etc.

CFO

Hong Seop Um

As CFO, Hong-Seop Um manages profit and loss and cash flow for Pistis, while identifying the company’s financial and operational strengths and weaknesses. He advises the CEO and CSO on financial matters to support strategic decision-making, and he is responsible for reviewing and securing strategic investments.

Hong-Seop’s career has been centered in the logistics, where he led logistics centers specializing in cosmetics and telecommunications, as well as managing a TV shopping mall. He has also spent many years in the blockchain mining industry and is currently preparing to launch a Real-World Asset (RWA)-backed cryptocurrency based on Pistis’s nickel mines.
